This is the first release of 2014! We have fixed a number of issues and added new features. The biggest addition to the app is inclusion of another natively supported email client. We have added support for K-@ mail. With this addition, Enhanced SMS & Caller ID + needs yet another permission from you. This permission is to allow our app the ability to read messages from K-@ Mail.
Facedown mute was also added to all notification types in the app. Of course, you can enable or disable them on a per notification type basis. This feature allows you to place your phone facedown (on its screen) and have notifications muted while the device is in this orientation. We found this feature invaluable and we are a little surprised it took this long to include in the app!
Since bugs bother us, we do take bug and crash reports seriously. If you can reproduce an issue and report it to us, then we will work tirelessly trying to squash it! In this release, we addressed issues with our widgets. A couple of them did not toggle their state correctly or behaved erratically. Additionally, we addressed a compatibility issue with IVONA TTS and an issue with our "Other Apps" listeners periodically crashing.
In closing, we would like to thank all of you for supporting us in the development of eCID. Given the sheer number of feature requests we have received, both over email and through the eCID testers community, we will continue to be hard at work delivering new features for you to use.
