This release brings something that many of you have requested! We have added preliminary support for customizing the text that is read out for event reminders! We would love to hear your feedback on this feature. We realize that in it's current form, it may not appeal to everyone, and so don't hesitate to let us know how you feel about it. The only way to improve is through the feedback you send us.
Once again, we have updated the internal Hangout's client in the app. This update was required to improve the user experience and enhance the stability of this feature in our app. Aside from improved performance and reliability, this update should be quite transparent. In addition to this improvement, we also implemented many other bug fixes for issues reported through our internal automatic crash reporter. Hopefully, these additions, enhancements and patches help make the app more stable for everyone!
We also added support for customizing the text on a per app basis for "Other Apps". So not only can our app read out almost anything on your device that posts notifications, you can now configure what each app's notification should sound like. You may need to tweak your settings now, but if you need help, please contact us for support!
